Getting There

• Longtail Boat

  From Ao Nang Beach, walk to the pier located at the northern end of the beach. Look for signs indicating longtail boat services to Klong Root Viewpoint. Purchase a ticket from one of the vendors at the pier, and board the longtail boat. The boat ride will take you across the water, offering beautiful views. Ask the boat driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Klong Root Viewpoint. Once you arrive, it will be a short walk to the viewpoint.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  From Krabi Town, head to the main road and look for a Songthaew stop. These shared taxis run frequently and can take you to Ao Nang. Once you reach Ao Nang, transfer to another Songthaew heading towards Klong Root Viewpoint. Make sure to tell the driver your destination. They will drop you off at a nearby point where you can walk to the viewpoint.

• Taxi or Tuk-Tuk

  If you're in Krabi Town, you can hire a taxi or tuk-tuk directly to Klong Root Viewpoint. Agree on a price before starting your journey. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to mention that you want to visit Klong Root Viewpoint in Nong Thale, as there are multiple similar attractions.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Ao Nang. Head out of the main tourist area and follow the signs towards Nong Thale. The ride is approximately 6-7 km and will take you through some beautiful scenery. Once you arrive in Nong Thale, ask locals for directions to Klong Root Viewpoint, which is well-known in the area.
