If you're staying in central Pattaya, start by heading towards Beach Road (also known as Pattaya Beach Road). Walk along Beach Road until you reach the intersection with Soi 2. Continue straight until you reach the end of Beach Road where it meets the intersection with Pattaya 2nd Road. Cross over to Pattaya 2nd Road and head south towards Pratumnak Hill. You will pass numerous shops and restaurants along the way. Look for signs directing you towards Phra Tamnak Mountain or 'Khao Phra Tamnak.' Continue until you reach the base of Pratumnak Hill.

From anywhere in central Pattaya, find a Songthaew heading to Pratumnak Hill. You can catch a Songthaew from various locations; a convenient spot is the main bus station or near the Pattaya Beach area. Inform the driver that you're going to Phra Tamnak Hill or show them a map. The fare is generally low, around 10-20 Thai Baht. Once you arrive at the base of the hill, you will need to walk up towards the viewpoint as the Songthaew cannot reach the top directly.
