From Rawai, head to the main road (Sai Yuan Road). Look for a Songthaew marked for Karon or Kata. These are usually blue or red pick-up trucks with benches in the back. Inform the driver you want to go to The Big Buddha. The fare is around 30-50 THB. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. The driver will drop you off near the entrance.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi. You can find them near convenience stores or roaming the area. Negotiate the fare before getting on; it should cost about 100-150 THB. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety.

For the adventurous, you can walk to The Big Buddha. Start from Rawai Beach and head north along the coast on Wiset Road. Follow the road as it curves inland. The walk is approximately 3.5 km and will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
