To reach Emerald Cave, start your journey from the center of Trang. Head to the Trang Pier (also known as the Trang Boat Terminal). You can take a tuk-tuk or songthaew (shared taxi) from your accommodation to the pier. Once at the pier, look for boats heading to Ko Muk or Ko Libong, as these islands are the closest to Emerald Cave. The boat ride typically takes about 30-45 minutes. Confirm with the boat operator that they will take you to Emerald Cave, as some boats may only go to the islands. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

Longtail Boat
Once you arrive at Ko Muk or Ko Libong, you may need to hire a longtail boat to take you specifically to Emerald Cave. There are usually local boatmen available at the beach or pier. Discuss the fare and confirm that they will take you directly to the cave. The ride from the islands to Emerald Cave is around 10-15 minutes. Be sure to bring your snorkeling gear if you plan to explore the waters around the cave!

If you arrive at Ko Muk, you can also explore the island on foot. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the nearest beach where longtail boats are available. This can be a nice way to take in the scenery of the island before your boat ride to the cave.
