Walking
From the center of Downtown Nassau, head east on Bay Street towards the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. Once you reach the National Art Gallery, continue walking along Bay Street until you reach the intersection with Shirley Street. Turn left onto Shirley Street. Continue on Shirley Street for about 5 minutes, and the Bahamas Historical Society will be on your left side. It's a short and pleasant walk, allowing you to enjoy the local scenery.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a jitney, which is a local bus service. Locate a jitney stop along Bay Street; look for jitneys heading towards 'East' or 'Shirley Street'. The fare is typically around $1.25 per person, which you will pay directly to the driver. Once you are on the jitney, inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. After exiting, walk back a short distance on Shirley Street, and the Bahamas Historical Society will be on your left.
