Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown Nassau, head to the main bus terminal located on Bay Street near the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. Look for a bus marked for 'West Bay Street' or 'Clifton Heritage Park'. Board the bus and pay the fare (around $1.25). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Clifton Heritage Park stop, as this is the closest point to Clifton Memorial. Once you disembark, walk towards the entrance of the park, and follow the signs to Clifton Memorial, which should be a short walk from there.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Nassau. Simply ask your hotel or the nearest concierge to call a taxi for you. Tell the driver to take you to Clifton Heritage Park. The drive should take about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Clifton Heritage Park, you may need to walk a short distance to reach Clifton Memorial within the park grounds.

• Walking from Clifton Heritage Park

  If you are already at Clifton Heritage Park, to get to Clifton Memorial, enter the park through the main entrance. Follow the marked paths leading to the memorial. It is a historical site within the park, so look for directional signs that will guide you. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes, providing you with a scenic view of the surrounding area.
