Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Nassau Cruise Port, head east on George Street. Continue straight to the junction with Parliament Street, where you will see the House of Assembly on your left. Turn right onto Parliament Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Shirley Street. At this point, you can see the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas on your left. Continue walking straight on Shirley Street, and after a short distance, you will see signs for Fort Fincastle. Follow the signs and turn left onto Prison Lane. The fort is located at the top of Bennet's Hill, and the entrance is clearly marked.

  • Public Bus

    From downtown Nassau, go to the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading towards the Fort Fincastle area. Tell the driver you want to go to Fort Fincastle, and they will drop you off at the closest stop. Once you get off, follow the signs for Fort Fincastle, which will require a short walk up Bennet's Hill. The fort is located at the top, and you will see it as you approach.
