Walking
From the center of Banjul, head towards the ferry terminal at the end of Liberation Avenue. Once you reach the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Barra, which operates regularly throughout the day. After disembarking at Barra, proceed to the main road and follow the signs towards Lamin. You can either walk along the road or take a local bus or shared taxi (known as 'Gele-Gele') towards Lamin. Once you reach Lamin, continue walking along Brikama Highway. Abuko Nature Reserve is located on your left side after a short walk along the highway. Look for signs indicating the entrance.

Public Transport
Start at the main bus station in Banjul and take a local bus heading towards Barra. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Lamin. After arriving in Lamin, look for a 'Gele-Gele' or a shared taxi that goes to Brikama Highway. Get off when you see signs for Abuko Nature Reserve. The entrance is a short walk from the main road.
