If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main village in Atauro Island, which is near the beach area. Head south on the main road towards the center of the island. Follow the signs pointing towards Itihuli. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach an intersection. Turn left onto Unnamed Road. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Manatuto Lookout, which will be on your right, marked by a small sign.

To reach Manatuto Lookout using public transportation, find the nearest minibus stop in the main village area. Take a minibus heading towards Itihuli. The fare is usually around $1-$2, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Manatuto Lookout stop. Once you disembark, walk along the Unnamed Road for about 5 minutes, and you will see the lookout on your left.
