Getting There

  • Bus

    From the city center of Tunis, head to the main bus station, which is located near the central market (Marché Central). Look for the bus number 5 or 6, both of which head towards Bardo. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Bardo' stop. Once you disembark, the Bardo Palace is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head straight down Avenue du 14 Janvier and take a left on Rue de la République, where you'll see the palace entrance.

  • Metro

    From the city center, make your way to the Tunis Metro station at Place de la République. Take the Metro line 1 (the blue line) towards 'El Mourouj 4'. Get off at the 'Bardo' station. After exiting the metro, follow the signs to the Bardo Palace, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head south on Avenue des États-Unis, then take a right onto Rue de la République to reach the palace.
