From Ortahisar, start walking towards the main road (D302). Head northeast until you reach the intersection with the D302. Turn right onto D302 and continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful landscapes and might see some local shops along the way. After approximately 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance of the Göreme Open Air Museum, which is located to your left.

From Ortahisar, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the town center. Take a local bus heading towards Göreme. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs approximately 10 Turkish Lira. Once you arrive in Göreme, disembark at the main bus stop.
