Getting There

Walking
From the center of Göreme, head southeast on Uzun Dere Cd. You can start from the Göreme Open Air Museum, which is a well-known landmark. Exit the museum and turn right onto Uzun Dere Cd. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local homes along the way. Keep an eye out for directional signs pointing towards Pigeon Valley. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see a small sign indicating the trailhead on your left.

Alternatively, you can start from the Göreme bus station. From the bus station, walk east on İnönü Cd. for about 300 meters until you reach a junction. From there, turn left onto Aydınlı Cd. and continue walking straight for about 500 meters. You will see a sign for Pigeon Valley on your right. Follow the sign, and you will arrive at the Pigeon Valley Trailhead East after approximately 10 more minutes of walking.

Walking
If you are near the Göreme Sunset Viewpoint, you can also walk to Pigeon Valley. From the viewpoint, head down the path that leads towards the town, keeping the valley in sight. Walk down the hill which will lead you to Uzun Dere Cd. Turn left and continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the trailhead. Look for a sign marking Pigeon Valley on your left before you reach the main road.
