Getting There

  • Public Transportation - Metro and Bus

    If you're starting from Taksim Square, take the M2 metro line towards Hacıosman for one stop and get off at 'Şişli-Mecidiyeköy' station. From there, transfer to the bus. Look for the bus stop and board either bus 22 or 25, both of which head towards Beşiktaş. After approximately 10-15 minutes, get off at the 'Ortaköy' stop. From the bus stop, walk down Çırağan Cd. for about 10 minutes until you reach Yildiz Lake, which will be on your right.

  • Public Transportation - Tram and Walking

    Starting from the Sultanahmet area, make your way to 'Gülhane' tram station and take the T1 tram line towards Kabataş. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Kabataş' station. From Kabataş, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Ortaköy. If walking, head towards the waterfront and take the road along the coast until you reach Çırağan Cd. Then walk up the street for about 15-20 minutes until you arrive at Yildiz Lake.

    If you're already in Ortaköy, Yildiz Lake is within walking distance. From the Ortaköy Mosque, head west towards Çırağan Cd. and turn right. Walk along Çırağan Cd. for about 10-15 minutes, and you will see signs directing you to Yildiz Park, where the lake is located.
