Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Arua, specifically from the Arua Main Market. Head south on Market Street until you reach the junction with Yei Road. Turn left onto Yei Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for public transport vehicles, as you can ask locals for directions if needed. Once you reach the junction with the road leading to Ajupani Hill, continue straight ahead for another 500 meters until you reach the foot of Ajupani Hill. The trail to the hill starts here.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in the center of Arua. Start your ride from the Arua Main Market and take Market Street south. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Yei Road. Continue riding for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the junction for the road leading to Ajupani Hill. Turn right and cycle straight for another 500 meters to reach the base of Ajupani Hill, where the trail begins.

Find a boda boda stand near the Arua Main Market. Negotiate a fare with the rider and request to go to Ajupani Hill. The rider will take you along Yei Road, where you will travel approximately 2 kilometers. The boda boda will drop you off at the starting point of the trail leading to Ajupani Hill. Make sure to ask the rider to wait for you if you plan to return with the same boda boda.
