Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mbale, head east towards the main road (Jinja-Mbale Road). Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along the road towards the direction of Bungokho. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a signpost for Wanale Ridge. Continue walking straight for another 500 meters until you reach the junction for Bungokho. At the junction, take the right turn and follow the road. You will pass local shops and houses. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Wanale Ridge, which is located at the coordinates 26XG+2VW, Bungokho.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in Mbale town. Start by heading east towards the Jinja-Mbale Road. Cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you hit the main road. Turn left onto the Jinja-Mbale Road and continue cycling for about 500 meters. Watch for the signpost indicating Wanale Ridge. Take the right turn at the Bungokho junction and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. The entrance to Wanale Ridge will be on your right at the coordinates 26XG+2VW, Bungokho.
