If you are driving, start from the city of Kherson, which is the closest major city. Head northwest on H15 towards Skadovsk. Follow the signs for Skadovsk, and once you reach the town, look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal. The drive should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions. Once at the ferry terminal, you will need to park your car and purchase a ferry ticket to Dzharylhach Island, which costs around 100 UAH for a round trip.
Public Transportation
From Kherson, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to Skadovsk. Marshrutkas leave regularly from the central bus station and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Skadovsk, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Here, you will need to buy a ticket for the ferry to Dzharylhach Island, which costs approximately 100 UAH for a round trip. The ferry ride will take around 30 minutes to reach the island.
