Metro
Start your journey by taking the Kharkiv Metro. Head to the nearest metro station, which can be any of the major lines in the city. If you are at the central station, take the Line 1 (Red Line) and travel towards the 'Pivdennyi Vokzal' station. Disembark at 'Universytet' station. From here, exit the metro and head towards the Gorky Park.
Walking
Once you reach Gorky Park, walk through the park towards the southern exit. As you exit, you will find yourself on Sumska Street. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pushkinska Street. Cross the street and continue walking south until you reach the Sarzhyn Yar entrance, which will be on your right.
Public Transport
Alternatively, after exiting the metro at 'Universytet', you can take a bus or tram. Look for bus number 20 or tram number 5, both of which will take you towards the Shevchenkivs'kyi District. Ask the driver to alert you when you reach the Sarzhyn Yar stop, which is well-known among locals. After you disembark, follow the signs leading towards the park entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city. Head towards Gorky Park and from there, follow the designated bike paths leading to Sarzhyn Yar. There are clear signs along the way, making it easy to navigate.
