Getting There

Car
From the center of Yaremche, head southeast on Halyts’ka St toward the A-9 highway. Continue straight to merge onto A-9. After approximately 12 km, take the exit toward Tatariv. Follow the road signs to Tatariv and continue for about 5 km. Once in Tatariv, turn left onto a local road leading to Polonyna Shchyvka, which is about a 10 km drive. Be aware that the road may be unpaved and require caution while driving.

Start at Yaremche bus station, located on Tsentralna Street. Take a local bus heading to Tatariv. The bus ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes, and the fare is around 30 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). Once you arrive in Tatariv, disembark and ask locals for directions to Polonyna Shchyvka. You may need to hike approximately 10 km from Tatariv to reach the destination, so ensure you have proper hiking gear.
