From the center of Yaremche, head southwest on the main road (H-09) towards the mountains. Continue on H-09 for about 3 km until you reach the fork. Take the left fork onto the local road leading directly towards the base of Makovytsya. There are signs indicating the direction to the mountain, so follow these signs. You will find a parking area near the trailhead at coordinates 48.4510534, 24.5895233. Parking is usually free but check for any local signage regarding parking fees.
