Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Zaporizhzhia. Head southwest on Sobornyi Avenue (Соборний проспект) and continue for approximately 10 km. Follow the signs for the Dnipro River and take the exit for O. Khmelnytskoho Street. Continue on O. Khmelnytskoho Street until you reach the intersection with Melitopolskyi Shliakh (Мелітопольський шлях), where you will take a right turn. Drive straight for about 5 km, and then take another right onto the road leading to the island of Khortytsia. Once you reach Khortytsia Island, look for the signs directing you to Sich Gate (Січові ворота). There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation - Bus

For those using public transportation, start by heading to the Zaporizhzhia Central Bus Station (Запоріжжя Центральний Автовокзал). Look for buses heading towards the Khortytsia Island area. Buses such as routes 20, 35, and 60 frequently service this area. The fare is typically around 10 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to Khortytsia. Get off at the stop closest to the island, which is usually called 'Khortytsia' or 'Sich Gate.' From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Sich Gate.
Public Transportation - Tram

Alternatively, you can take a tram from the center of Zaporizhzhia. Board tram number 5 or 8 from the central tram station. The fare is approximately 6 UAH. Stay on the tram until you reach the stop 'Khortytsia' (Хортиця). After disembarking, walk towards the riverbank, follow the pedestrian paths, and look for signage indicating the direction of Sich Gate. The walk from the tram stop to the gate is about 15-20 minutes.
