Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are starting from the Sharjah City Centre, head to the nearest metro station, which is the Al Qusais Metro Station. Take the Red Line towards UAE Exchange. After approximately 10 stops, get off at the BurJuman Metro Station. From BurJuman, switch to the Green Line and board the train towards Creek Station. Get off at the Al Fahidi Metro Station. Once you exit the station, head west on Al Fahidi Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Al Fahidi Fort, which is now the Dubai Museum.

  • Bus

    From Sharjah, you can catch a bus from the Central Bus Station. Look for Bus number 15 or 21, which will take you directly to Dubai. The journey will take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station in Dubai, exit the station and walk towards the Al Fahidi area. It’s about a 15-minute walk. Head east on Al Ghubaiba Road, then turn left onto Al Fahidi Street. Continue straight until you reach Al Fahidi Fort.

  • Taxi

    You can easily find a taxi from any point in Sharjah. Simply flag down a taxi or ask your hotel to call one for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to Al Fahidi Fort in Dubai. The ride will take around 30 minutes, depending on the traffic conditions. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the Dubai Museum located at Al Fahidi Fort.
