Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Bristol city center, head to the nearest bus stop at 'The Centre'. Take any bus heading towards Clifton. You can take the 8 or 9 bus route. Get off at 'Clifton Down' bus stop. From there, walk up Whiteladies Road until you reach the traffic lights. Cross the road and continue straight onto Clifton Hill. After a short walk, you will arrive at the entrance of Clifton Observatory located at Litfield Place.

• Bus

  From Bristol Temple Meads Train Station, walk to the bus stop located on the main road (Temple Gate). Board the number 8 or 9 bus heading towards Clifton. After about 15 minutes, disembark at 'Clifton Down' bus stop. Walk up Whiteladies Road, then turn left onto Clifton Hill. Continue until you reach Litfield Place, where Clifton Observatory is located.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber from anywhere in Bristol. Simply input 'Clifton Observatory, Litfield Place, Bristol BS8 3LT' as your destination. This option will provide a direct route without the need for navigation on foot.

• Cycling

  If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from any of the local bike hire stations in the city. From the city center, follow the designated cycle paths towards Clifton. Once you reach the area, cycle along Clifton Hill and look for the signs directing you to Litfield Place. Be cautious of pedestrians as you approach the Observatory.
