Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Caernarfon, take the A487 towards Porthmadog. After about 20 miles, take the A55 towards Conwy. Continue on the A55 for approximately 10 miles, then take the exit for A470 towards Llandudno. Follow the A470 into Llandudno, and look for signs directing you to The Great Orme. You will enter the town, and then take the B5113 road that leads to The Great Orme. There is a parking area near the summit, but a parking fee may apply, usually around £3-£5 for a few hours.

    From Caernarfon, take the bus to Llandudno. The number 19 bus operated by Arriva runs regularly between Caernarfon and Llandudno. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
