Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards the M25 motorway. From Central London, take the A12 and follow signs for the M25. Merge onto the M25 and take exit 26 for the A121 towards Waltham Abbey. Continue on the A121, then take the A112 and follow the signs for Waltham Abbey. Upon entering Waltham Abbey, look for Abbeyview. There is available parking near the gardens, but be aware that charges may apply depending on the time of your visit.

• Train

  For those using public transport, take a train from Liverpool Street Station in Central London to Waltham Cross Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Waltham Cross Station, exit and catch the local bus number 505 towards Waltham Abbey. Get off at the stop nearest to Abbeyview. The gardens are a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the train timetable for return journeys.

• Bus

  Alternatively, you can take a bus from Central London. Catch the bus number 66 from Liverpool Street Station towards Waltham Abbey. This journey may take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach Waltham Abbey, get off at the stop near Abbeyview. The gardens will be within a short walking distance from the bus stop.

• Combination of Train and Bus

  Another option is to take the train to Theobalds Grove Station, which is slightly closer to Waltham Abbey. After arriving at Theobalds Grove, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Abbeyview. This route combines the convenience of the train with a short bus or taxi ride to reach the gardens.
