Getting There

• Tube

  If you are near a London Underground station, take the Tube to Piccadilly Circus Station. This station is on the Piccadilly Line (dark blue) or the Bakerloo Line (brown). Once you arrive at Piccadilly Circus, exit the station onto Piccadilly Circus itself. From there, walk along Shaftesbury Avenue, and the Gielgud Theatre will be just a short walk ahead on your left at address Shaftesbury Ave, London W1D 6AR.

• Bus

  Find a nearby bus stop and take any bus that goes towards Piccadilly Circus or Covent Garden. Buses such as the 14, 19, 22, or 38 will take you close to the area. Get off at Piccadilly Circus, and from there, walk along Shaftesbury Avenue. The Gielgud Theatre will be located on your left-hand side at Shaftesbury Ave, London W1D 6AR.

• Walking

  If you are already in central London, especially near Covent Garden or Leicester Square, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to the Gielgud Theatre. From Covent Garden, head south on James Street towards Long Acre, then turn right onto Long Acre. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Shaftesbury Avenue. Turn left onto Shaftesbury Avenue, and you will find the theatre on your right at Shaftesbury Ave, London W1D 6AR. From Leicester Square, head northwest towards Charing Cross Road, then turn left onto Shaftesbury Avenue, and the theatre will be a short distance ahead on your right.

• Taxi/Minicab

  For a more comfortable option, you can book a taxi or a minicab from your current location. Simply provide the driver with the address 'Shaftesbury Ave, London W1D 6AR' or tell them you are going to the Gielgud Theatre. This is a well-known location, so any local driver will understand exactly where to take you.
