That convenience is part of its appeal: this is not a long excursion, but a short, high-impact stop that fits neatly into a day of South Bank, Borough or City sightseeing. Expect security screening, lift queues at busy times, limited seating on the viewing levels and a visit that usually lasts under a few hours. Food and drink are available in the building, but the core experience remains the panorama. It is a strong choice in rain, cold or wind, though the open deck is naturally best in calmer weather.
