If you are starting from York Minster, exit the Minster grounds and head southwest on Minster Yard. Continue onto Duncombe Place and then turn left onto Ogleforth. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Stonegate. Turn right on Stonegate and continue walking until you reach the junction with High Ousegate. Turn left onto High Ousegate, then right onto Pavement, and continue until you reach Coppergate. JORVIK Viking Centre will be on your left at 19 Coppergate.

From York Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for the city center, which will take you along Station Road. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Leeman Road and then right onto Queen Street. Continue onto Fishergate and follow the road until it becomes Coppergate.
