Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Aigua, head east on Ruta 8 (Ruta 8 is also known as 'Ruta Nacional 8'). Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the junction with Ruta 14. Turn left onto Ruta 14 and continue for about 8 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Cascada Escondida' and 'Rincon Indigena'. After another 5 kilometers, you will find a small parking area near the entrance to the park (HRG3+WHV Ent. al Parque, 30000 Departamento de Lavalleja). Please note that there may be a small entrance fee for parking.

    From any location in Aigua, make your way to the main bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards Lavalleja or Minas. Confirm with the driver that they will stop near the entrance to Parque Aguas Blancas. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated stop, you will need to walk about 2 kilometers to reach Rincon Indigena, Cascada Escondida.
