Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the central square in Maldonado, Plaza Libertad. Head southeast on Calle 25 de Mayo towards Avenida Lecuona. Turn left onto Avenida Lecuona and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida Acuña de Figueroa. Turn right onto Avenida Acuña de Figueroa and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will arrive at the bus terminal (Terminal de Omnibus) located at the intersection of Avenida Acuña de Figueroa and Ruta 10. From there, take a bus heading to Punta del Este; the bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the Punta del Este shopping area. From the bus stop, walk towards the coast along Avenida Gorlero, and then head east on Calle 24 until you reach the beachfront. Continue walking along the beach promenade until you reach the intersection with Calle 5. Turn left onto Calle 5 and walk straight for about 400 meters until you find Azotea de Haedo on your left.

    Begin your journey at the main bus terminal in Maldonado (Terminal de Omnibus). Look for a bus that is heading towards Punta del Este; these buses run frequently throughout the day. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take about 20 minutes. You'll want to disembark at the stop near the Punta del Este shopping area. After getting off, walk towards the beach along Avenida Gorlero. Continue along the promenade until you reach Calle 5. Turn left onto Calle 5 and walk approximately 400 meters until you reach Azotea de Haedo, which will be on your left.
