Walking
If you are in the central area of Pocitos, simply head towards the coastline. From the intersection of Avenida Brasil and Calle 21 de Setiembre, walk towards the east along Avenida Brasil until you reach the waterfront. This will take you approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. Once you reach the coast, follow the pedestrian path along the Rambla until you arrive at Rambla de Pocitos, which is located at Senda Peatonal Rbla. You’ll find beautiful views of the beach as you walk.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Pocitos. After obtaining a bike, head towards Avenida Brasil and ride east until you reach the Rambla. Once on the Rambla, you can cycle along the path, taking in the scenic views. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on your speed. Make sure to follow all traffic rules and be cautious of pedestrians.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are further away from the Rambla de Pocitos, you can take a local bus. Look for buses heading towards the coastline, such as lines 114 or 146, which stop along Avenida Brasil. Get off at the stop nearest to the Rambla, and from there, it’s just a short walk to Senda Peatonal Rbla. The bus fare is approximately 50 Uruguayan pesos, and buses run frequently during the day.
