From the Island in the Sky Visitor Center in Canyonlands National Park, head southeast on the Island in the Sky Road (UT-313) for approximately 23 miles until you reach the junction with US-191. Turn left (north) onto US-191 and continue for about 8 miles. Look for the sign for Mill Creek Road, which will be on your right. Turn right onto Mill Creek Road and drive for about 3 miles until you reach the parking area for the Mill Creek Waterfall trailhead.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a shuttle service from Moab. You can catch a shuttle from various locations in Moab, including hotels and the Moab Information Center. Confirm with the shuttle service that they drop off at the Mill Creek Road trailhead. Once you arrive, follow Mill Creek Road on foot for about 3 miles to reach the parking area for the Mill Creek Waterfall trailhead. Be aware that shuttle services may incur a fee, which can vary, so check with the provider for current rates.

For those who are adventurous and prefer to hike directly from Moab, you can start at the Moab city center and follow the Mill Creek Trail. This will be a longer hiking route, approximately 8 miles one way, leading you through scenic views. It is advised to start early in the day and bring plenty of water and snacks. The trail will take you along Mill Creek, and you will eventually reach the waterfall. Note that this option requires good physical fitness and preparation.
