From Capitol Reef National Park, take UT-24 E and head east towards Hanksville for about 12 miles. Turn left onto UT-62 N and continue for about 19 miles until you reach the junction with US-89. Turn left onto US-89 S and drive for approximately 9 miles. Then, turn right onto Kodachrome Basin Road and follow the signs to Kodachrome Basin State Park. The park entrance is about 5 miles down this road. Note: There’s a daily entrance fee of $10 per vehicle.
