Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you're starting from downtown Salt Lake City, head to the TRAX light rail station at 200 S Main St. Take the Red Line (University Line) towards the University of Utah. Get off at the 2100 S station. From there, transfer to the 9 bus route towards Sugar House. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Sugar House Park' stop. Walk approximately 5 minutes northwest to reach Sugar House Monument located at 40.7253° N, -111.8602° W.

  • Walking

    If you are near Sugar House Park, head north towards 2100 S Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Highland Dr. Turn right on Highland Dr and walk about 0.5 miles. You will see Sugar House Monument on your left side, just past the intersection with 2100 S.

  • Bicycle

    For those starting at Liberty Park, you can bike south on 900 E until you reach 2100 S. Turn west on 2100 S and continue until you hit Highland Dr. From there, turn right and Sugar House Monument will be on your left in a short distance. The ride is approximately 3 miles and mostly flat, making it a pleasant journey.
