Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the historic center of Bukhara, head towards the Ark Fortress. From the Ark Fortress, walk southeast along the street until you reach the intersection with Khodja Nurobobod Street. Turn left onto Khodja Nurobobod Street and continue walking straight. After about 500 meters, you will see a small square; Baland Mosque is located just beyond the square on your right side. It is recognizable by its beautiful tile work and the serene atmosphere.

If you are near the Bukhara Bazaar, exit the bazaar towards the main road (Amir Temur Street). Turn right and walk along Amir Temur Street until you reach the intersection with Khodja Nurobobod Street. Turn left onto Khodja Nurobobod Street, and after approximately 400 meters, you will find Baland Mosque on your left side, right at the corner before the small square.

From the Lyab-i-Hauz area, walk southwest towards the intersection with Khodja Nurobobod Street. Turn left onto Khodja Nurobobod Street and proceed straight for about 600 meters. As you approach the small square, keep an eye out on your right; the entrance to Baland Mosque will be visible. The mosque is set back slightly from the street, so be sure to look for the distinctive tilework.
