    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican City. Once you are outside, turn right and walk towards the street called Via di Porta Angelica. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue along this road until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight ahead on the other side of the river. Eventually, you'll reach Piazza Orazio Giustiniani. The Mattatoio will be located at Piazza Orazio Giustiniani, 4, on your left.

    Public Transport

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Piazza San Pietro'. Take bus number 40 or 64 towards 'Termini'. Get off at the 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From there, walk towards Via del Teatro di Marcello and head south until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Fabricio or Ponte Sant'Angelo. Once on the other side, continue straight until you reach Piazza Orazio Giustiniani. The Mattatoio will be located at Piazza Orazio Giustiniani, 4.
