Walking
From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the main entrance. Once you are outside, turn left and walk along Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). From there, exit the square towards Via della Conciliazione. Keep walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Once you arrive at the river, take a right, and you will see Ponte Cestio just a short walk ahead.
Public Transport
Exit the Sistine Chapel and head towards the Ottaviano metro station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once you reach the station, take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Get off at the next stop, which is Lepanto. From Lepanto station, exit and walk towards the Tiber River, then turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach Ponte Cestio.
