Walking
From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance and walk towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. As you head towards the square, you will see the magnificent basilica in front of you. Walk straight through the square, keeping the basilica on your right side. When you reach the far corner of the square, you will see Via della Conciliazione. Turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and continue walking until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once you are on the other side, turn left onto Lungotevere, and walk along the riverbank. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach Via di Valle Murcia. Turn right onto Via di Valle Murcia, and you will find Roseto Comunale on your left side.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Piazza San Pietro'. Catch bus number 23 or 280 towards 'Stazione Trastevere'. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach your destination. Get off at the 'Piazza della Radio' stop. From there, walk towards Via di Valle Murcia, turning left onto Via di Valle Murcia. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find Roseto Comunale on your right.
Walking
If you prefer a more scenic route, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the Vatican Gardens. Walk along Viale Vaticano until you reach the entrance to the gardens. Although entry to the gardens may require a ticket, you can continue walking along the outer path of the gardens. As you exit the gardens, continue walking past the entrance and follow the road to Via di Valle Murcia. It’s a longer walk, so ensure you have comfortable shoes and plenty of water, as it will take around 30-40 minutes.
