To reach Piazza della Minerva from the Vatican Museums, exit the museums and head towards Viale Vaticano. Turn right onto Viale Vaticano and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Turn left onto Via Leone IV and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street to Via della Conciliazione and follow it until you reach the Tiber River. Continue walking along the river until you see the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge, and you will be on the other side of the river. Continue straight onto Via di Panico, which will lead you to Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, walk east on Via Agonale until you reach Via di Santa Maria dell'Anima. Turn left and continue walking until you reach Piazza della Minerva, which is on your right.

From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 81 towards 'Stazione Termini' and get off at the stop 'Corso Vittorio Emanuele/Navona'. From there, walk to Piazza Navona, and then follow Via Agonale east until you reach Via di Santa Maria dell'Anima. Turn left, and you will soon arrive at Piazza della Minerva on your right.
