Walking
From the entrance of the Vatican Pinacoteca, head south towards Viale Vaticano. Turn right onto Viale Vaticano and walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Via dei Gracchi. Continue walking straight, and you will see P.za Madama on your left after approximately 700 meters. The square is known for its historical buildings and is a lovely spot to take photos.

Walking
Exit the Vatican Pinacoteca and walk east towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. As you exit, take a left and walk down the Via della Conciliatione, which will lead you directly to St. Peter's Square. Once there, continue straight until you reach the end of the square, where Via della Conciliazione meets P.za Madama. It's about a 1 km walk, but very scenic along the way.

From Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the nearest bus stop, which should be located along Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After a short ride, get off at the 'P.za Madama' stop. The square will be just a short walk from the bus stop.
