Car
From the center of Green Mountains National Forest, head towards the nearest major road, which is Route 7. Follow Route 7 north until you reach the intersection with VT-140 in the town of Tinmouth. Turn left onto VT-140, and continue driving for about 5 miles. Table Rock will be on your left side, located near the road. Watch for the small parking area to the side of the road where you can safely stop.
Public Transportation
To reach Table Rock via public transportation, start by finding the nearest bus station that services the Green Mountains area. You can take a Greyhound or a local bus to the town of Rutland. From Rutland, you'll need to use a taxi or rideshare service to get to Table Rock. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you should expect to pay around $40-$50 for the ride. Ensure to confirm the location with the driver, as Table Rock is a roadside attraction on VT-140.
Bicycle
If you're cycling from within Green Mountains National Forest, use the available bike paths or roads leading to Route 7. Once you reach Route 7, head south for about 3 miles before turning left onto VT-140. Continue west on VT-140 for about 5 miles, and you will reach Table Rock. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all biking safety regulations, particularly on the roads.
