Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Con Dao Town. Head southeast on Tran Phu Street and continue for about 2.5 km. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the sign for Van Son Pagoda, which will be indicated on your right. There is a parking area available near the pagoda.
Motorbike
For those renting a motorbike, the route is similar to that of a car. From Con Dao Town, take Tran Phu Street heading southeast for approximately 2.5 km. The pagoda will be on your right. The ride is scenic and allows you to enjoy the coastal views. Be cautious of other vehicles and pedestrians along the way.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Con Dao Town to Van Son Pagoda. Buses run regularly throughout the day. Board the bus at the main bus stop in the town center. Inform the driver you want to go to Van Son Pagoda (they are familiar with the location). The fare is usually around 20,000 VND (less than 1 USD). The bus will drop you off close to the pagoda entrance, and from there, it’s just a short walk.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can easily reach Van Son Pagoda on foot from the center of Con Dao Town. The walk is approximately 2.5 km and takes about 30-40 minutes. Head southeast on Tran Phu Street, and you will see signs leading you to the pagoda. It’s a pleasant walk that allows you to explore the local area and take in the scenery.
