From Da Nang city center, head to the nearest bus station, such as the Da Nang Central Bus Station (Bến xe Đà Nẵng). Look for the buses that go to Hòa Hải or Ngũ Hành Sơn. Purchase a ticket (usually around 20,000 - 30,000 VND) and board the bus. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. You will get off at the Hòa Hải stop, and from there, it’s a short walk (about 1 km) to Hòn Thủy Sơn. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Hòn Thủy Sơn, which is well-known in the area.

Motorbike Taxi (Grab or local services)
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use the Grab app or find a local motorbike taxi. Set your destination to Hòn Thủy Sơn. The drivers are familiar with the area and can take you directly. The journey from the city center will take around 25-35 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting if you’re not using an app.

Walking
If you are staying near the beach area, you can also walk to Hòn Thủy Sơn. Start at My Khe Beach and walk south along the coastline. You will eventually reach the main road leading to Ngũ Hành Sơn. This is a scenic route but may take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the Ngũ Hành Sơn area, look for signs pointing towards Hòn Thủy Sơn.
