Walking
Start at the main path along Tuyen Lam Lake. Follow the lakeside path heading towards the south, enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will come to a fork in the path. Take the left path that leads uphill. Continue on this path for another 500 meters until you reach a small bridge crossing over a stream. Cross the bridge, and you will see signage pointing towards Truc Lam Zen Monastery. From here, it’s a short, steep walk of about 300 meters up to the monastery.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near Tuyen Lam Lake. After renting, head towards the main path along the lake and cycle southward for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the fork in the path, take the left uphill. Continue cycling for about 500 meters until you reach the small bridge. Park your bike before crossing the bridge and walk the remaining 300 meters to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, which is a steep walk but manageable.

Boat Ride
For a unique experience, consider taking a boat ride across Tuyen Lam Lake. You can hire a small boat from the local vendors near the lake. Once you reach the other side of the lake (approximately a 10-15 minute ride), you will find a path that leads up towards Truc Lam Zen Monastery. It is about a 1-kilometer walk uphill from the lake’s edge to the monastery. Be sure to negotiate the boat fare ahead of time, as prices can vary.
