Getting there

Boat

To reach Hang Luồn from Ha Long, start by heading to the Tuan Chau Pier, which is about 10 km from the city center. You can take a local bus (Bus No. 14) or a taxi to the pier. Once at Tuan Chau Pier, purchase a boat ticket to Hang Luồn. The boat ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, during which you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay. Upon arrival at Hang Luồn, follow the signs to the cave entrance.

Public Bus

From Ha Long City, take Bus No. 16 towards Cái Rồng and get off at the Cát Hải ferry terminal. The bus journey takes about 30 minutes. From the ferry terminal, you can catch a local boat service to Hang Luồn, which will take another 20-30 minutes. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance to ensure a smooth transfer.

Bicycle

For an adventurous option, rent a bicycle in Ha Long City and cycle towards Tuan Chau Pier. The distance is approximately 10 km and the route is relatively flat, making it suitable for tourists. Once you reach Tuan Chau Pier, take a boat to Hang Luồn. Remember to wear a helmet and stay hydrated during your ride.
