Getting There

• Bus

  If you are starting from Ben Thanh Market, walk to the nearby bus station at 23/9 Park. Take bus number 36 towards Tan Son Nhat Airport. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Ben Nghe' stop (approximately 5 stops). From there, walk approximately 5 minutes towards Ton Duc Thang Street, where the museum is located at 5 Đ. Tôn Đức Thắng.

• Metro

  Currently, Ho Chi Minh City does not have a fully operational metro system, but you can take the upcoming Line 1 from Ben Thanh Station (once operational) towards Suoi Tien. Once the metro is operational, disembark at the nearest station to District 1 and then walk to the museum located at 5 Đ. Tôn Đức Thắng.

• Walking

  If you are near the Saigon River or the Opera House, you can walk to the museum. Head towards Ton Duc Thang Street, walk along the river for about 15-20 minutes, and you will arrive at the museum at 5 Đ. Tôn Đức Thắng.

• Cyclo or Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous, you can hire a cyclo or rent a bicycle. Cyclo drivers are common in District 1 and will take you directly to Ton Duc Thang Museum. Just tell them you want to go to 5 Đ. Tôn Đức Thắng. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes from central locations like Ben Thanh Market.

• Taxi or Ride-hailing Service

  For a more comfortable option, you can use a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Grab. Simply enter 'Ton Duc Thang Museum' or '5 Đ. Tôn Đức Thắng, Quận 1' into the app. The ride from most central locations in Ho Chi Minh City should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
