Getting There

  • Bicycle

    Start at the center of Hoi An, near the Japanese Covered Bridge. Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around the area. Head east on Tran Phu Street and follow the road as it curves slightly to the right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Nguyen Du Street. Turn left onto Nguyen Du Street and cycle until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Cua Dai Street and continue until you see a sign for Cẩm Thanh. Follow the signs towards Cẩm Thanh, and after about 3 km, you will reach the entrance to Trang Coconut Village. Look for the signs indicating the Local Basket Boats. Once you arrive, you can leave your bike securely at the entrance.

    If you're starting from the Hoi An Ancient Town, walk towards the Japanese Covered Bridge. From there, head down Tran Phu Street toward the river. Cross the river on the Tran Thi Ly Bridge. Once across, continue straight until you reach Cua Dai Road. Turn left and follow this road for about 2 km until you see signs for Cẩm Thanh. Walk towards the village, and you will eventually arrive at Trang Coconut Village. It may take approximately 30-40 minutes of walking, so wear comfortable shoes.

    You can take a local boat from Hoi An to reach Trang Coconut Village. Head to the river near the Hoi An Ancient Town and look for local boat operators offering trips to Cẩm Thanh. Once you board the boat, enjoy the scenic ride along the river, which will take about 20-30 minutes. Ask the boat operator to drop you off at Trang Coconut Village. Make sure to agree on the return trip as well.
