Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Hue, head to the main bus station (Bến xe khách Huế), which is located at 1 Trần Hưng Đạo Street. You can take a taxi or a local motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to get there. Once at the bus station, look for buses heading to Phu Loc District or Bạch Mã National Park. The bus ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination clearly. Get off at the nearest stop to Bạch Mã National Park, and from there, you can walk approximately 1 km to the park entrance.

• Motorbike Taxi

  If you're comfortable on a motorbike, you can easily hire a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) from anywhere in Hue. Just tell the driver you want to go to Bạch Mã National Park (Công viên quốc gia Bạch Mã). The journey will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before you start your trip.

• Cyclo

  For a more traditional experience, you can hire a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) to take you to Bạch Mã National Park. You can find cyclos near tourist areas in Hue. Negotiate a fare before starting your journey. The ride may take around 1 hour, as it is slower than other transport options, but you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer to explore at your own pace, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Hue. From the city center, head south on Nguyễn Huệ Street, then take Quốc Lộ 1A to reach Bạch Mã National Park. The ride is about 40 km and can take around 2-3 hours depending on your cycling speed. Ensure you have plenty of water and snacks, and be prepared for some hilly terrain as you approach the park.
