Walking
From the center of Sapa town, head east on Muong Hoa Street towards the Sapa Market. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Thach Son Street. Turn left onto Thach Son Street and follow it until it merges with the main road leading to Lao Cai. After about 1 km, you will see a sign for Hầu Thào village on your right. Follow this road into Hầu Thào, which is approximately 3 km from the main road. The scenic views and terraced rice fields along the way will enhance your journey.
Motorbike
If you prefer to rent a motorbike, start from Sapa town square and head east on Muong Hoa Street until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the left lane towards Lao Cai. Keep going straight for about 4 km. Look for the sign indicating Hầu Thào village on your right. Turn right and follow the winding road for another 3 km until you reach the village. Be cautious of the traffic and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Bicycle
For a more eco-friendly option, you can rent a bicycle in Sapa. Start from the town center and cycle east on Muong Hoa Street. Continue until you hit the intersection with Thach Son Street, then turn left. Follow this road as it transitions into the main road toward Lao Cai. After about 1 km, watch for the sign for Hầu Thào village on your right. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, and you can enjoy the fresh air and countryside views.
Local Bus
To reach Hầu Thào village via public transport, find the local bus station in Sapa town. Look for buses heading towards Lao Cai and ask the driver to drop you off at Hầu Thào village. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive, you can walk around the village and explore the local culture. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
