2 days AMAZING trekking Sapa from Hanoi with various options
Rural Exploration
Well organised guided tours to Cat Cat village and then then next day an approx. 5-7 mile walk (with lunch included) with guide from the local village. It was very muddy but daughter & I borrowed wellies which had fairly good grips. Local ladies assisted us along paths through rice fields & in return we bought local handicraft items. Well worth doing to get an insight into rural Vietnamese life.

Terrifyingly Fun!
WOW! Intense and exciting! This is not for anybody, not for anyone who is scared of heights and it helps to have a little experience climbing/repelling. When they say bring trekking sandals, you actually need trekking shoes AND socks because that water gets COLD. They have some but it’s no guarantee they’ll have it in your size. Don’t eat too much before you go (you’ll need to be at peak athleticism) and BE HYDRATED. There is a 25 minute hike before the waterfall that you do in a thick wet suit so keep that in mind. Otherwise, staff will make sure you are safe and it was super fun! Right up there with sky diving for me, one of the craziest and exciting things I have done in my life!
