Getting There

Car

If you're driving in Tam Dao, head towards the center of the town. From the Tam Dao Market, continue straight on the main road until you reach the fork. Take the road to the right which leads uphill. After approximately 1 km, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Cây thông Mã Vĩ. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the base of the tree. The walk from the parking area to Cây thông Mã Vĩ is about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transportation

For those relying on public transport, start by taking a local bus or taxi to the Tam Dao Central Market. Once you arrive at the market, you can either hire a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) or walk towards the main road leading uphill. If you choose to walk, follow the main road for about 1 km until you encounter a fork. At the fork, take the right path. Continue along this road until you see signs for Cây thông Mã Vĩ. Expect to pay around 20,000 VND for the bus fare and about 30,000 VND for the motorbike taxi to the tree.
